A Camp to Remember
Our Year 5 students recently enjoyed a fantastic camp experience right here in our local West Beach community, creating memories, strengthening friendships and embracing everything that makes our school such a special place.
Across the camp, students took part in a range of exciting activities including swimming, beach walks, playground adventures, team games and plenty of time outdoors. From the moment the camp began, there was a wonderful sense of excitement, with laughter, smiles and enthusiasm evident throughout every activity.
Beyond the fun, the camp provided valuable opportunities for students to build confidence, develop independence and strengthen connections with their classmates and teachers. Whether they were working together in games, exploring the local environment, or simply sharing experiences with friends, students demonstrated the positive relationships, kindness and sense of belonging that are so important within our school community.
A highlight of the camp was the chance to spend quality time together away from the classroom, creating shared experiences and friendships that will continue long after the camp has finished. The beautiful West Beach surroundings provided the perfect backdrop for learning, adventure, and connection.
We are incredibly proud of the way our students embraced every opportunity, supported one another and represented our school with such enthusiasm and respect. It was a wonderful few days filled with fun, friendship and community spirit – and one that will be remembered fondly by students and staff alike.
