During Vacation Care, students can take part in an even broader range of engaging experiences, including themed activity days, special events, creative workshops, outdoor adventures and hands-on learning opportunities that make every school holiday memorable.
Every Vacation Care period features an exciting program packed with engaging activities, creative experiences, special incursions, excursions and plenty of opportunities for fun, friendship and learning. Each program is carefully planned in advance and shared with families during Week 7 of each school term, giving children something exciting to look forward to during the holidays.
HUBHELLO APP
How to book:
- Download the app and sign in using your login and username.
- Tap on the heart icon at the top of the page.
- Tap ‘Book Me’ – this will bring up a calendar.
- Tap across to Dec/Jan.
- At the moment the little dots will be blue, tap on these to view and read the activity for the day.
- On Friday there will be a tab to ‘Book’ which will take you through to a checkout for each day selected.
- Confirm your bookings and accept the bookings and cancellations procedure. Once confirmed the dots will turn orange.
Payment:
No payment is needed at the time of booking; please ignore and proceed to confirm.
Deposits still need to be paid through EFT using OSHC bank details quoting your name as reference.
$10 per day booked (5 days booked = $50). This total will come off the invoice.
BOOKINGS & FEES
Bookings for Vacation Care are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be made through the HubHello app once bookings open. Families will be notified via email each term when bookings become available. All bookings are managed in accordance with the West Beach OSHC Booking Policy, which is available to families at any time.
To help children make the most of their day, please provide snacks, lunch and drinks. On selected incursion days, lunch order options may also be available and will be outlined in the Vacation Care program.

PUPIL FREE DAYS
Pupil Free Day bookings are available on a first-come, first-served basis and can be made through the HubHello app (more info above) once bookings open.
Please note: Care will only be provided where numbers booked are sufficient for the service to be viable. Parents and caregivers will be informed a week prior to the event.

SAFETY & WELLBEING
The safety and wellbeing of every child is our highest priority. Children must be signed in on arrival and signed out when collected, with educator-to-child ratios maintained at:
1 educator to 15 children at the service
1 educator to 8 children on excursions
1 educator to 5 children during swimming activities
OPENING HOURS
Vacation Care operates during all school holiday periods from 7:00am to 6:00pm, providing families with flexible, high-quality care throughout the holidays.
Please note that the service closes for approximately two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period, with exact dates communicated to families each year.
