Welcome to West Beach Primary School. Nestled in the beautiful beachside suburbs of Adelaide, West Beach Primary School has been proudly supporting local families since 1969. We are a welcoming and inclusive community school where every child is known, valued and encouraged to thrive.

As a smaller public school, we are able to create strong connections between students, staff and families, fostering a genuine sense of belonging and community. We hold high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal growth, while ensuring every student feels supported, safe and confident to be themselves.

We currently have limited places available in our Mid-Year 2026 Reception intake and warmly welcome families to contact the school to learn more or arrange a visit.

Our spacious grounds and quality facilities provide an engaging environment for students to learn, play and explore. These include extensive outdoor areas, a swimming pool, modern technology resources, a nature play space, and a student food garden and orchard that encourage curiosity, creativity and connection with the environment.

Student wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do. Our dedicated support team includes a Student Wellbeing Coordinator, Aboriginal Community Education Officer and Pastoral Care Worker, with additional support programs available to meet the needs of individual students.

West Beach Primary School is proud to offer inclusive learning opportunities for all children, including a specialised Year 3–6 class supporting students with identified learning needs through a regional placement process. We are also part of the International Education Program, welcoming students from across Asia and Europe into our school community and enriching the cultural experiences of all students.

OUR TEACHERS

We have 11 classes R-6, 5 with part time teachers, and 3 specialist NITT classs.

Leadership structure:

Principal, Deputy Principal, and Well Being Coordinator.

Staff Support Systems:

All teachers belong to year level teaching teams JP, Specialists and Primary.

Performance Management:

Teachers and SSOs take part in Performance discussions in term 1 and 3 where written feedback is provided.

Access to Specialist Educators:

Students at West Beach Primary School have the opportunity to explore their creativity through instrumental music programs, including strings and private guitar lessons. We are also committed to supporting the individual needs of every child, with access to a range of specialist support services including Educational Psychology, Speech Pathology, Behaviour Support, Hearing Support and Disability Services through the Sister Support Services team.
